Volunteering to Serve You
The Board of Directors is a group of dedicated volunteers who bring decades of personal and professional experience to their deliberations in the policy-making body of the credit union and their diversity reflects the whole membership.

All members of our Board of Directors are fellow credit union members who serve on a volunteer basis to set the long-term direction of the credit union to ensure that prudent operational policies are maintained.

The same is true of the many members who serve on committees controlling the records and safeguards, credit policies, personnel and other important facets of the credit union's operation.

Who We Are
Celebrating our 39th Anniversary in 2008 and with assets in excess of $79 Million, CSC Employees Federal Credit Union is a full service, not-for-profit financial institution that gives employees of Computer Sciences Corporation, its subsidiaries and BT, an alternative to banks and the chance to own a share of their own financial institution. Profits earned by the credit union are returned directly to you and your fellow members in the form of high dividend rates, low loan rates and reduced fees for services.

Serving Members Coast to Coast
When CSCEFCU was established in 1969, it provided a limited amount of services, on a part-time basis, out of a small room in Computer Sciences Corporation's headquarters in El Segundo, California. Today, we have two modern branch offices - in El Segundo and Falls Church, Virginia - serving over 10,000 members coast-to-coast, offering a full range of financial services with competitive advantages over many other large financial institutions.

Safety and Stability Since 1969
Your Credit Union is one of the safest places where you can put your money to work. The National Credit Union Insurance Fund, administered by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government, insures deposits of credit union members at more than 12,000 federal and state-chartered credit unions nationwide. The strongest of all federal deposit insurance funds, the NCUSIF insures each member's deposits up to $100,000 with a separate $250,000 for IRAs (higher IRA limit effective 2006).

Our Top Concern
We observe stringent guidelines for operational safety and do not invest in commercial loans, junk bonds, derivatives or other risky investments. Credit Unions are uniquely run to benefit only the membership and not an outside corporation, its shareholders or any other interests. The result? Unquestionably, Credit Union membership offers a valuable consumer benefit.
